B.C.’s COVID-19 response and latest updates for June 12

IL health officials have reported 673 new cases of coronavirus Saturday and 29 additional deaths. "This is particularly true in our population of 70 and older", Fannin County Health Authority Dr. James Froelich said in a news release.

Appointments are not required for a person to be tested, however, pre-registration can be done on the state's online registration tool or by calling 512-883-2400.

One new death was confirmed by the province on Friday, a patient in the Vancouver region. Boone Ridge Senior Living in south Salem has reported three people sick with the virus since an outbreak began May 31.

The Ministry of Health today reported the country has gone five days without an active case, after the final case recovered on Monday.
