Premier League clubs agree to resume contact training as four more test positive

The Premier League has confirmed that the 2019/20 season will resume on Wednesday, June 17, with all 92 remaining games to be shown live on TV.

The two weekend matches will be Sheffield United at Aston Villa and Arsenal at Manchester City, which are both games in hand.

"Due to COVID-19, games will take place behind closed doors".

It had initially been thought that the league would resume on June 12th however clubs were keen to push the date out by a week in a bit to help players regain fitness and lessen the chance of injuries.
