Microsoft Begins Testing An App That Combines All Office Apps Into One

In an announcement from its Ignite conference in Orlando, Microsoft revealed that it is beginning to publically test a new version of the Office app that will combine the three popular apps into one main, centralized Office app. Microsoft will continue to support individual apps for Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Similarly, printed tables can be instantly transformed into Excel files.

Microsoft's having a busy Monday morning, and for anyone that uses Office on the go, its new app might be the major gamechanger.

It also puts things you are likely to need pretty often on the page - like the ability to turn an image of a table into an actual table, for example. The unified Office app is available as a public preview for Android but, because of the rules of Apple's TestFlight platform, has been temporarily closed to iPhone owners after reaching the 10,000 user limit.

In the new app, files can be stored locally or accessed in the cloud, while you can easily share documents with other users or devices.

Trump blames impeachment inquiry for stock market dip
United States hiring continues and unemployment is low, while inflation is creeping up to the Fed's 2.0 per cent target. Against this backdrop, the Fed could be done for 2019, and may prove to disappoint market expectations for next year.

Microsoft also added new capabilities that harness the strengths of mobile devices like the camera.

The app also includes a new Actions pane that should be especially effective for document editing on-the-go.

Office gives people a new way to use Microsoft's productivity tools, and helps you save space on your iPhone instead of downloading multiple apps. The separate Outlook email app remains.

But if you're looking for something similar but still stay within Microsoft's ecosystem - you'd be glad to know that the American company has created Microsoft Office, for mobile phones.
